Dates Of Our Riding Holidays 2023
We offer riding holidays all year around for both experienced riders and beginners. All our guests will be accomodated in our lovely farmhouse of approximately 310 square meters. The house is surrounded by a breathtaking landscape and unspoilt nature with a very nice panoramic view. We offer 3-5 hours of riding every day and home cooked traditional Italian food. All our guestrooms have their own bathroom with shower or bathtube. We have sunbeds and a loungearea in the beautiful garden below the house. We also have an outdoor Jacuzzi that we offer all our guest to use. Our horses are well educated American Quarters and American Paints. We offer both riding lessons in western and western/dressage and beautiful trailrides. For those who want to participate in the work with the horses we are truly grateful. The horses live outside in the pasture fields with forest and windshelters.

Our winter holidays always includes the possibility to go skiing as well as horseback riding. All our guests can choose how many days they wish to perform each activity. We offer transfer to famous Italian ski resorts and breakfast/snacks during the trip.
Sking costs, equipment and meals/beverages is payed by each guest individually.
Famous Ski resorts within 1.5 hour by car from our farm is Abetone in Tuscany and Cimone in Emilia Romagna. Abetone offers 29 run downs, 17 lifts and the longest run down is 3 km. Cimone offers 31 run downs, 21 lifts, 2 snow parks and the longest run down is 3 km.
Wintertime at Oak Wood Ranch we offer all our guests hot bath in our outdoor Jacuzzi and nice relax with an open fire in our restaurant and lounge area. All our guestrooms have nice warm comforters.
Facts about our riding holidays at Oak Wood Ranch
The price always includes a very charming and beautiful bedroom in Italian old and genuine style. All our guestrooms have bathroom. The price always also includes full boarding including wine/beer and water. We offer traditional Italian cuisine. We also offer vegetarian meals.
We spend about 3-4 hours every day in the saddle. We offer both lessons in western riding and western dressage as well as trail rides through the beautiful Italian landscape.
All our riding holidays are suitable for advanced riders as well as beginners. We ride in small groups depending on the riders experience. Our staff and instructors all speak Swedish, English and some also Italian and German.
Our horses are American Quarters and American Paints. They are all very well educated, calm, nice, responsive and suitable for both beginners and advanced riders.
Riding helmets, chaps, boots and other riding gear is possible to borrow here at Oak Wood Ranch!
We try to stay flexible when it comes to change of arrival or departure dates. It is also possible to add extra riding hours on these days.

Our 5 days holiday includes 3 full days of riding and full boarding and guestroom. Day 1 and 5 are travel days and guestroom and boarding is included. Riding hours can be added to an additional cost.
Our 8 days holiday includes 5 full days of riding and full boarding and guestroom. Day 1 and 8 are travel days and guestroom and boarding is included. Riding hours can be added to an additional cost.
One full day is reserved to a sightseeing trip to famous cities as Bologna or Modena. Meals and beverages during this trip is payed by the guest. We offer transfer on this sightseeing day.
